JOB DESCRIPTION\n\n* Administering daily the IBM AS400, including its hardware and software\n* Assisting in maintaining, installing, and configuring all of IBM AS400’s hardware and software, including its networked devices, journaling, and IBM iAccess software\n* Developing and documenting processes for system utilities, including backup/restore, performance tuning, and configuration of interface\n* Testing AS400 operating system and application software releases and repairs in the development/test and production environments; load application software patches; performance and file tuning utilities\n* Implementing certain application security groups and levels\n* Understanding the internal control and change management processes of IBM iSeries\n* Leading projects concerned with upgrading and enhancing new or existing technology solutions\n* Monitoring source code/versioning management function concerning technical management guidelines\n* Directing performance tuning and troubleshooting\n* Providing technical support to employees\n* Maintaining compliance to all IT regulations and processes
