Pyramid Healthcare is a national leader in Behavioral Healthcare. We are very proud to operate a residential, Substance Use Disorder treatment center in Quakertown and Catasauqua for adults. We are currently seeking Behavioral Health Technician Trainer to support our clients and staff. The Behavioral Health Technician Trainer is an integral part of our clients’ well-being and our daily operations. A facility level trainer responsible for BHT training, coordination of training schedules, and conducting BHT competency evaluations. Location: This role will be for both our Lehigh Valley and Quakertown facilities.
Requires the ability to transport self between both sites. Training occurs at both as needed
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Pay Rate: 19/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with facility and regional leadership to identify training needs.
- Facilitate BHT onboarding trainings; other trainings as needed.
- Test and review onboarding and training materials.
- Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, materials and equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of trainee attendance, progress and achievements.
- Maintain a database of all training materials.
- Conduct employee surveys and interviews to measure training efficacy.
- Remain up to date on organizational policies and procedures; able to answer questions from trainees during sessions.
- Participates in work groups and gets involved in performance improvement of our organization.
- Conducts Competency evaluations for the Behavioral Health Technicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education, Licensure, & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate Degree Preferred.
- 1- 2 years experience in residential drug and alcohol treatment setting preferred.
