About the role

Keller Executive Search is hiring a Head of IT Operations to own end-user IT, service management, and operational run for the firm. This is an internal role. The function owns everything downstream of the platforms the Head of Application Management runs — endpoints, helpdesk, access, IT asset management, incident response.

You'll report to the VP of Engineering and lead a team of [4–6]. The role exists because IT has outgrown a tier-1 helpdesk model and needs an operator who can build an ITIL-ish practice without making it heavy.

How this role fits with the other IT leadership roles

Keller has three other IT leadership roles live on the careers page. Here's the scope split so candidates can self-select:

•      Head of Application Management — owns the core SaaS and custom platforms (Workable, Salesforce, NetSuite, candidate-matching engine).

•      IT Infrastructure Manager — owns the AWS estate, networking, identity.

•      Data Systems Manager — owns the warehouse, ETL, and analytics layer.

•      Head of IT Operations (this role) — owns end-user IT, helpdesk, service management, and cross-cutting IT ops.

Requirements

- Proven experience (7+ years) in IT operations management with a strong leadership background.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, projects, and vendor partnerships successfully.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in a fast-paced professional services environment preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Passion for technology and a drive to continuously improve operational excellence.
