Job Description
Overall purpose of the job:
- To provide leadership and strategic direction to the Channel sales teams
- To develop and build the Channel sales strategy, aligned with the Exponential-e Sales Strategy. This will include performance management, sales methodologies, all aspects of our go-to-market proposition and input into the marketing plan/collateral
- Ensure that the 4 cornerstones of our product portfolio have a proposition for our partners to increase revenue streams
Key responsibilities for this job:
- Develop the Channel strategy to maximise the business benefits to partners and Exponential-e equally Ensure that the 4 cornerstones of our product portfolio have a proposition for our partners to increase revenue streams
- Provide and develop a clear structured approach to the market that delivers the highest return for the investments made by the business
- Plan Channel sales strategies and campaigns to enable the recruitment of new partners, to increase reseller market share through raising awareness of the Exponential-e brand and technology
- Competently and knowledgably advise partners on technology solutions and services that best fulfil their requirements, undergoing full assessments and analysis of partners portfolio
- Management of team member activities and training to enable and support Channel Sales in achieving targeted revenue and KPI’s
- Mentoring and coaching to Sales Managers and Channel Sales team members
- To support Exponential-e's continued growth and raising the company’s profile within the Vysiion market space
- To competently and knowledgably advise Partners/clients on solutions and services that best fulfil their requirements, undergoing full assessments and analysis of their needs
- To achieve personal/career advancement goals in line with personal development programme
- Accurate forecasting of anticipated sales is required, along with regular activity reporting
- Co-ordinate team members follow up`s on the marketing campaigns run ensuring that all possible opportunities arising from them are discovered.
- Mentoring and coaching
- Attending networking events
- Manage internal interdepartmental resource effectively to maximise partner revenue opportunities
- Any other fair and reasonable task or duty assigned to you by your Manager, or other senior Exponential-e Ltd staff member
Knowledge and experience required:
- Experience in developing and leading a Channel sales strategy within the technology industry
- Consistent Channel business sales record and experience in selling in the Channel market
- Knowledge of WAN: VPLS, Data Connectivity and Wireless, LAN, Unified Communications, Hosting & Cloud and Managed IT Services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to 'win trust', selling on the quality and integrity of Exponential-e
- Must be driven, self-motivated and disciplined
