Location & Flexibility

India Hybrid: Noida/Gurgaon/Bengaluru/Hyderabad

This is a hybrid role. This model requires the ability to work in a hybrid mode from our office in Noida/Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Gurgaon (1 to 2 times/ week). Our office culture is designed to foster in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members, local and visiting, from other global offices.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Applications Developer (ABAP Developer), you’ll will be at the forefront of our S/4 HANA transformation journey. The role offers the opportunity to design and build innovative SAP solutions using RAP and BTP, while partnering closely with functional stakeholders to translate business needs into efficient, scalable systems.

Responsibilities

Design, and build solutions using SAP RAP(RESTful Application Programming Model) on S/4HANA and BTP.
Develop CDS Views, behaviors, annotations, and OData services to support RAP applications.
Code development in SAP ABAP - Conduct configuration for business solutions, creation of interfaces for integration and SAP system maintenance tasks
Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable architectures.
Integrate RAP applications with SAP Fiori/UI5 for seamless user experiences.
Ensure adherence to clean code principles, performance optimization, and security

standards.
Comfortable to work on ABAP on HANA, RAP and extension approaches.
Solid work experience on core ABAP RICWEFs.
Support in system design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Support migration of legacy custom developments to RAP-based solutions.
Document technical designs, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of SAP technical experience with 2+ years in SAP RAP.
Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, Annotations, OData V2/V4, and BOPF
Knowledge of S/4HANA extensibility, BTP, and SAP Fiori/UI5 integration.
Experience with RESTful APIs, event handling, and transactional processing in RAP.
Experience with Adobe forms/Smart forms
Knowledge of Integrations areas such as IDOCs and Proxies
Highly preferred to have workflow/flexible workflow experience.
Understanding of clean core and side-by-side extensions on BTP.
Strong problem-solving, design, leadership, and communication skills.
