About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with over 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining SAP applications using ABAP programming language. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of custom SAP solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development & Customization:

    • Design, develop, and implement custom SAP applications using ABAP programming.
    • Enhance and customize existing SAP solutions to meet business requirements.
    • Develop reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (RICEF), and workflows using ABAP.

  • System Integration:

    • Integrate SAP applications with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
    • Develop and maintain BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Spots.
    • Implement SAP NetWeaver Gateway services for OData/RESTful APIs.

  • Performance Optimization:

    • Optimize ABAP code for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
    • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP-related issues.
    • Collaborate with functional teams to resolve system issues and implement solutions.

  • Documentation & Training:

    • Document technical specifications, development activities, and configuration changes.
    • Provide training and support to end-users and other team members.

  • Project Participation:

    • Participate in project planning, design, and implementation activities.
    • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing custom SAP solutions in complex environments.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including object-oriented ABAP.
    • Strong experience with SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, HR, and others.
    • Experience with SAP Workflows, ALV Reporting, Smart Forms, and SAPScripts.
    • Familiarity with SAP Web Dynpro, SAPUI5, and Fiori development.
    • Knowledge of SAP HANA and CDS views is a plus.
    • Experience with SAP Enhancement Framework, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP certification in ABAP or related areas.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
