Civil Engineer ( oil & gas)

Job Description:

1. Familiarity with Iraqi local engineering codes (e.g., Iraqi National Building Code) and international oil & gas standards (API, ISO 13623) is mandatory.

2. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, material data sheets, and project specifications.

3. Excellent problem-solving skills to address on-site technical issues.

4. On-Site Construction Supervision. Conduct hands-on oversight of critical civil activities, Witness key civil tests performed by EPC, Resolve technical disputes.

5. Design review, construction supervision, and quality assurance of field-specific infrastructure-including oil/gas gathering stations, storage tank foundations, pipeline, water treatment facilities, and auxiliary structures (workshops, staff quarters). The incumbent will ensure all civil operations comply with international oil & gas standards (API, ISO), Iraqi local regulations (Iraqi National Building Code, Ministry of Oil directives), and strict HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) protocols, while mitigating region

-specific challenges

(extreme heat, sandstorms, remote material sourcing, and local labor coordination).

Position Capabilities and Requirements (General) :

1. Minimum Education Qualifications : Related Civil Engineering Bachelor's degree

2. Work Experience : Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience in oil & gas field projects, with prior experience in the Middle East (especially Iraq, Kuwait, or Saudi Arabia) highly preferred.

3. Language Skills : Mastering English listening, speaking, reading and writing ability

4. Computer Skills : Proficiency in civil engineering software: AutoCAD.

5. Certificates : With professional technology level certificate
