Field Program Assistant
The Field Program Assistant provides operational and logistical support for field-based initiatives and programs. This role involves assisting program teams with community outreach, data collection, event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and administrative tasks. The Field Program Assistant works closely with Field Officers and Program Managers to help ensure programs run smoothly and achieve their impact goals.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with planning, organizing, and coordinating field activities, workshops, and community events.
Support on-site logistics, including travel coordination, materials preparation, and venue setup.
Conduct field data collection, documentation, and reporting using surveys, interviews, and digital tools.
Assist with monitoring and evaluation of program activities, ensuring accurate and timely records.
Engage with community stakeholders, partner organizations, and local leaders to support outreach efforts.
Help maintain communication between field teams and headquarters, including sharing updates and feedback.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, expense tracking, and documentation.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and summaries for internal and external use.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Human Rights, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience working in community programs, nonprofit organizations, or field settings.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse teams.
Comfortable with travel and flexible work environments.
Familiarity with data collection tools (e.g., spreadsheets, mobile surveys) is a plus.
