We’re hiring an Engineering Product Manager – Test Systems to lead the delivery of automated test equipment (ATE) and integrated test solutions for advanced aerospace and defense programs. In this role, you’ll sit at the center of engineering, manufacturing, and program leadership—driving execution across electrical, software, and mechanical teams.
You’ll own program scope, schedule, and cost, ensuring test systems are developed, integrated, and deployed successfully in production environments. This is a highly visible role ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional leadership, fast-paced execution, and solving complex system-level challenges.
Location: Tucson, AZ (onsite)
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; Secret clearance (active or obtainable). Strong preference for Active Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of test systems and automated test equipment (ATE) programs
- Manage cross-functional engineering teams (electrical, software, mechanical, test)
- Drive program execution, including scope, schedule, budget, and performance
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, finance, and leadership to ensure alignment and delivery
- Oversee Earned Value Management (EVM/EVMS), reporting, and program financials
- Support development of proposals, statements of work (SOW), and cost estimates (BOEs)
- Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive issue resolution across teams
- Present program status, performance metrics, and key updates to leadership
- Support test system deployment, production readiness, and ongoing sustainment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field
- 5+ years of experience in program management, engineering project management, or test systems leadership
- Experience working with test systems, hardware/software integration, or manufacturing environments
- Strong background in budgeting, scheduling, and program execution
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS/EVM)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Unit Under Test (UUT) environments
- Background in RF systems, radar, communications, or EO/IR technologies
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
- Experience with test automation platforms (Keysight, ATEasy, etc.)
- Experience leading engineering teams and complex technical programs
- Knowledge of hardware systems, subsystems, and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting production, manufacturing, or sustainment programs
Full compensation package is based on candidate experience and certifications
Pay Ranges
$57—$62 USD
