Senior Supply Chain Specialist (MP&L Europe)
Our partner is a stable, international manufacturing company with a strong European presence. The company develops and produces a wide range of products used across industrial, mobility, and life science applications.
The Hungarian site acts as an important production and supply chain hub within the European network, supporting multiple plants and markets. The organization offers a structured, process-driven environment with a strong focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist (MP&L Europe) to support and coordinate material planning and logistics processes across multiple European sites.
This is not a people management role, but a regional expert position, focusing on process alignment, KPI improvement, and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate material planning and logistics (MP&L) activities across European sites
- Act as a functional lead within the European MP&L network
- Drive alignment and standardization of planning and logistics processes
- Act as a gatekeeper for MP&L process standards and ensure consistent application across sites
- Monitor and improve key supply chain KPIs (e.g. inventory levels, OTIF, forecast accuracy, logistics costs)
- Support and coordinate the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process
- Structure and drive inventory-related initiatives across the region
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, sales, procurement, and logistics teams
- Identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
Education & Experience
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, material planning, or logistics
- Experience working in a multi-site or regional environment
- Experience in coordinating teams without direct line management
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of material planning and logistics processes
- Hands-on experience with SAP (MM / PP / SD / WM/EWM preferred)
- Advanced MS Excel skills (analytical level)
- Understanding of S&OP and inventory management principles
- Knowledge of Lean principles (e.g. pull systems, value stream thinking)
Languages
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
