As a Logistics Specialist at Vinmar International, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the movement of materials throughout the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to our customers. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including suppliers, warehouses, forwarders, and internal teams, to enhance supply chain performance and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Ocean Export expertise from planning, booking, documentation, and post-shipment.
Build relationships with 3rd-party logistics vendors to ensure a high level of service.
Provide prompt, professional communication with both internal and external customers, providing a high level of Customer Service to both.
Respond to incoming communications from internal and external customers and, where necessary, resolve and escalate issues as needed.
Identify, recommend, and implement changes that solve problems and improve efficiency and customer service.

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of Ocean Export experience in Latin American countries, preferably in plastics or chemical distribution. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage. Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities with keen attention to detail. Ability to work cohesively within a team and manage cross-functional relationships. Fluency in English. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
