Job Description: Manager – Commercial Contracts
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented manager to support our commercial team in handling commercial and corporate legal matters. The ideal candidate will assist in legal drafting, negotiating, documentation, while providing hands-on advice and counsel in working with the Strada Sales and Business Teams. The candidate must be hands-on in every stage of the contract lifecycle, from understanding the deal structure, identifying relevant documents and terms, drafting and negotiation to implement and review.
Objectives of this role:
- Draft, execute and manage the entire contract lifestyle, in a way that is supportive of business and commercial objectives, neutral, fair and beneficial to both parties involved.
- Ensure that all contractual accountability and duties are met by both parties signing any agreement.
- Educate the stakeholders about their rights and responsibilities as per the conditions in the agreement.
- Work within the contract management system to ensure standard and consistent contract documentation, and regulate the contract management workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the deal team to define documents and terms consistent with the Solution and Services.
Draft, monitor and review contracts across various verticals and scales.
Provide essential contract management services, by resolving conflicts, providing legal and business inputs related to renewing and redrafting contracts and amendments.
Prepare reports and documentation on the contract performance and run them by senior contract manager as needed.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the status of the agreements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration or similar discipline from a recognized university in India.
- Proficiency in contract law.
- Prior experience in working as a manager in commercial contracts.
- Contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Accuracy and high attention to detail.
- Good command over English and regional language (as applicable).

- Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Professional ethics and confidentiality.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
