Fern is a platform for generating and publishing client libraries and documentation for APIs. It imports API specs (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, OpenRPC, gRPC or Fern Definition), supports languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, Ruby, C#, PHP (Swift and Rust coming soon), and allows adding custom code. Generated SDKs are published to registries like npm, PyPI, and Maven, with features including OAuth 2.0, server-sent events, auto-pagination, and dependency vulnerability scanning to improve the developer experience across languages.
