Senior Accountant

● Compensation: $1,300 - $1,500

We are a privately held investment and wealth management business operating across multiple entities. Our finance team values accuracy, ownership, and consistency, and plays a direct role in supporting leadership with reliable financial information.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who takes pride in clean books, structured processes, and dependable execution. You’ll be trusted to manage core accounting operations independently, ensure timely and accurate month-end closes, and maintain financial data that leaders can confidently use to make decisions. The role requires sound judgment, follow-through, and comfort working with recurring monthly cycles in a fast-moving but disciplined environment.

You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting execution as well as critical monthly deliverables, including reconciliations, reporting, payroll processing, and commission calculations tied to assets under management.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a senior Accountant or Accountant.

• Previous experience using Gusto and QuickBooks.

• CPA Certification - preferred but not required. Investment Group

• Excel proficiency and working in a shared spreadsheet is a must

• Experience working in Wealth Management companies

• Previous experience working for a U.S. Financial company

• Experience in commission calculations and reconciling

• Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance

(GAAP/IFRS, tax, audits)

• Previous experience reporting account summaries

• Prior experience in Tax Reduction Strategies

• Willing and able to complete a background check requiring fingerprinting
