We’re recruiting a Principal Structural Engineer to join our Structures team within the Building Engineering Unit, delivering a wide range of projects across the built environment. Our teams are involved in every stage of a project, from initial feasibility studies and concept designs to detailed design, structural assessments, inspections, and construction support. The work covers both building and heavy civil projects, with a particular focus on the defence and commercial sectors. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, working alongside engineers, technicians, and other specialists to deliver technically challenging and innovative solutions for our clients. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic and ambitious team. Lead structural engineering projects and ensure successful delivery across commercial and defence sectors. Engage with clients to define requirements, present proposals, and report progress. Manage commercial, technical, and managerial aspects of projects, supervising engineers and technicians. Perform structural analyses, calculations, and produce design reports independently.
