About the Role
The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support content creation across digital and brand channels. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who is highly creative, detail-oriented, and excited to bring ideas to life visually. This is a short term contractor role for two months, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.
You’ll play a key role in producing content that engages a global audience of coffee professionals—ranging from social media posts and newsletters to presentations and marketing campaigns.
What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Design
Design and produce content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Create visual assets for email newsletters, campaigns, and website use
Support the development of presentations, reports, and marketing materials
Ensure all content aligns with SCA brand guidelines and visual identity
Campaign & Channel Support
Assist in executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
Format and schedule content across platforms
Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and assets
Support content planning and organization
Brand & Creative Support
Maintain consistency across all visual outputs
Contribute creative ideas for campaigns and storytelling
Stay current on design trends and social media best practices
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong graphic design skills with an eye for layout, typography, and composition
Familiarity with social media platforms and content formats
Basic understanding of email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp or similar) is a plus
Experience with Canva, Figma, or similar tools is a bonus

Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Creative thinker with a willingness to learn
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong communication skills
Interest in coffee or global food/beverage culture is a plus
