Graduate Architectural Assistant - Part 1 (London)
AECOM’s Architecture + Design (A+D) team is a multidisciplinary collective of architects, interior designers, landscape architects, and masterplanners working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, integrated design solutions. In the UK, our architecture teams work closely with other design disciplines across the business to deliver innovative and sustainable environments for clients across a wide range of sectors.
Our London studio is seeking an exceptional and ambitious Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join our growing design team. You will work alongside experienced architects and designers on projects across multiple sectors, contributing to design development and technical delivery while gaining exposure to a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
From day one, you will be involved in meaningful project work and will have the opportunity to contribute to design ideas, technical outputs, and project coordination. This role offers a strong foundation for architectural development within a supportive studio environment.
At AECOM, we encourage continuous learning and professional growth. Through AECOM University, structured training programmes, and a wide range of CPD opportunities, you will be supported in developing both your technical skills and your long-term architectural career.
We also foster an inclusive and supportive culture through our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), which provide opportunities to connect with colleagues, support professional development, and contribute to positive change across our organisation.
As part of our Freedom to Grow philosophy, we support hybrid working. To support learning, mentoring, and collaboration within the studio, we expect employees to be present in the London office 2–3 days per week.
Examples of projects our Architectural team are currently involved in include:
- Aviation – Concept design for a new passenger and equestrian airport terminal in AlUla.
