This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks and cloud-native architectures on AWS.\n\nYou will play a key role in defining system architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving best practices, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful digital products.\n\nThis is a hybrid position based in Medellín or Bogotá, offering a balance between onsite collaboration and remote flexibility.\n\n * \n### Key Responsibilities\n\n Design, build, and maintain fullstack applications using React and Next.js.\n \n* Develop scalable backend services using Python and AWS cloud services.\n \n* Architect and implement serverless solutions leveraging:\n \n * API Gateway\n \n * AWS Lambda\n \n * Step Functions\n \n* Design and evolve microservices architectures and event-driven systems.\n\n* Define technical architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.\n\n* Implement monitoring and observability using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.\n\n* Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.\n\n* Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices and code quality.\n\n* Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and technical decision-making.\n\n\n* * \n### Must-have Skills\n\n Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n\n* 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including fullstack development.\n\n* Advanced English level (written and spoken).\n\n* Strong experience with React and Next.js.\n\n* Solid backend development experience using Python.\n\n* Proven expertise working with AWS cloud services, including:\n \n * API Gateway\n \n * AWS Lambda\n \n * Step Functions\n \n* Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.\n\n* Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns.\n\n* Hands-on experience with CloudWatch and CloudTrail for monitoring and logging.\n\n* Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture design.\n\n* * \n### Nice-to-have\n\n AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation.
