YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

The SIXT Van and Truck UK division is rapidly expanding, and you as a Maintenance Manager will play a key role in ensuring top-quality vehicle maintenance services. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for accurately documenting and managing all mechanical and bodywork damages, ensuring professional and timely follow-up with customers. Your role will involve strong coordination with breakdown partners, suppliers, and internal teams to uphold compliance and customer satisfaction. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You lead, motivate and allocate daily work within your maintenance team

• You manage relationships with breakdown partners and monitor service level agreements

• You approve complex vehicle repairs within defined financial limits

• You oversee supplier performance to ensure quality and efficiency

• You ensure compliance with MOT and safety check requirements across depots

• You serve as a working supervisor handling escalated repair jobs and provide cover for coordinator absences

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Background You have a solid background in vehicle maintenance, ideally with light commercial vehicles (LCV)

• Adaptability You thrive in dynamic environments and can work effectively under pressure both independently and in teams

• Attention to Detail You have a sharp eye for detail ensuring all paperwork and inspections are accurate and complete

• Communication You demonstrate excellent communication skills to engage with customers and internal teams clearly and courteously

• Flexibility You are open to working shift rotations covering branch operating hours to maintain continuous service

• Problem-solving You proactively resolve vehicle condition issues, customer disputes, and insurance coordination challenges

• IT Proficiency You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

• Experience You bring experience from transport, logistics or automotive sectors with prior involvement in maintenance management

• Driving License You hold a valid driving license with at least 12 months of driving experience
