Senior Project Manager - Data Center Construction

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team as a key contributor to the successful execution of data center construction projects, working closely with the Project Director and/or Senior Project Manager to coordinate contractor and vendor communications while overseeing day-to-day project activities. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to operate with both strategic awareness and tactical precision in a fast-paced environment.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n* Support the planning and execution of turnkey building projects from pre-construction through commissioning.\n* Conduct routine site observations to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.\n* Assist with entitlements and permitting processes to ensure timely approvals.\n* Manage design deliverables and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders.\n* Review and support development of project schedules, identifying risks and opportunities.\n* Lead OFCI (Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed) equipment coordination efforts.\n* Partner with Operations on Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and commissioning activities.\n* Support budget reviews, invoice validation, and cost tracking.\n* Prepare meeting documentation, action items, and follow-up reports.\n* Contribute to RFP development and bid evaluation processes.\n* Prepare materials for monthly and quarterly reporting to leadership.\n* Maintain accurate and timely communication with all stakeholders.\n* Drive issue resolution and escalate critical risks to project leadership.\n* Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks.\n* Foster strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain alignment.\n* Coordinate logistics for major equipment deliveries and installation sequencing.\n* Monitor compliance with environmental and sustainability requirements.\n* Support risk management planning and implement mitigation strategies.\n* Assist in resource planning and allocation across multiple workstreams.\n* SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
