Senior AU Logistics Operation Specialist

Do note that this is a fully remote role.
What you'll be doing:
- Own inbound warehouse operations to ensure smooth receiving of up to three containers per day, preventing disruptions to daily operations.
- Monitor and manage demurrage and detention risks, identifying, challenging, and resolving charges arising from warehouse-related delays where applicable.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy (≥98%) through regular stock reconciliation and independent investigation of discrepancies.
- Proactively manage warehouse storage utilisation and inbound planning to avoid congestion and operate within agreed capacity limits.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Experience working with external vendors, with exposure to vendor coordination and performance management.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement initiatives within operations or warehouse environments.
- Hands-on experience in inventory control and stock reconciliation, with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Strong systems and data capability, including proficiency in WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
- Ability to analyse operational data, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and translate insights into practical corrective actions
