Position Overview
Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Full-Time, Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of our Concord facility. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for both clients and staff.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of maintenance tasks, including building systems and facility upkeep.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Rotating on-call responsibilities
Compensation
- $25–$30 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry and building repairs
- Complete painting, light electrical work (if qualified), and basic plumbing repairs
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures, electrical outlets, fans, and lighting
- Maintain both interior and exterior areas of the facility
- Ensure proper functioning of laundry machines and other essential equipment
- Operate and maintain tools such as hand tools, saws, drills, and pipe cutters
- Track and document time and materials used for maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment
- Assist with training or overseeing helpers as needed
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred, but not required
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment
