We are seeking a Full Stack Python Engineer to help build and scale an AI-driven medicolegal platform. You will collaborate with global engineering and operations teams to develop robust backend systems that automate workflows for personal injury law firms. Your work will directly impact how legal teams process cases, analyze documents, and generate insights more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems powering AI-driven applications
Develop and optimize Python-based services for processing complex legal and medical documents
Collaborate with founders, product teams, and engineers to translate user needs into technical solutions
Integrate third-party services and build internal APIs for workflows, data pipelines, and AI models
Use data insights and user feedback to improve system performance and product features
Contribute to system architecture, code reviews, and engineering best practices in a fast-paced startup environment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution or equivalent experience in leading tech companies or startups
3+ years of experience as a Python backend or full-stack engineer in high-growth environments
Strong experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django, with a focus on performance and scalability
Hands-on experience with LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows
Familiarity with high-throughput APIs, document processing systems, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across distributed teams

Good to Have

Experience with deploying and integrating foundation models in production environments
Exposure to frontend technologies such as React, Next.js, or full-stack development using TypeScript and Node.js
