Content Marketing Strategist\n\nAre you a research-driven storyteller with a passion for impacting B2B SaaS businesses? As a Content Marketing Strategist, you will be a key contributor within a broader cross-functional agency team, and integral to delivering against overall client strategy led by our in-house CMO. You'll drive our content initiatives through meticulous research and data-driven storytelling. Your focus will be on making a tangible impact on B2B SaaS businesses by conceptualizing, planning, creating, and refining high-quality content across various platforms.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nIn this role you will:\n* Develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with business objectives, funnel stages, audience personas, and market trends.\n* Own, define and create the client’s brand voice, messaging, and positioning guide.\n* Utilize research and analytics to craft compelling narratives that resonate with client values and priorities.\n* Ensure content aligns with SEO best practices and contributes to lead generation and brand awareness.\n* Identify gaps in content and recommend new topics according to SEO research, site analytics, and competitor performance.\n* Produce high-quality, engaging content in various formats (ad copy, testimonials, articles, lead nurture copy, ABM copy, blog posts, social media posts, case studies, video scripts, white papers, etc.) that resonates with the target audience.\n* Create and manage social media and editorial calendars, ensuring timely publication and alignment with marketing initiatives.\n* Identify and implement effective distribution channels to maximize content reach and engagement.\n* You will be a key contributor within a broader cross-functional agency team, and integral to delivering against overall client strategy led by our in-house CMOs.\n* Create customer lifecycle marketing collateral to drive marketing qualified leads via strategically integrated campaigns.\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n\nExcellent storytelling and practical writing skills, endless curiosity. We uncover impactful insights that raise our clients to new levels.\n\nOur Ideal Candidate: \n\n* Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills. \n* Data-centric and strategic writer with advanced knowledge of SEMRush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.\n* Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Suite (experience with Hubspot is a plus)\n* Familiarity with the B2B SaaS landscape, trends, and audience nuances.\n* An entrepreneurial spirit with a marketing “superpower” to leverage for immediate value.\n* Systems and process-thinker; loves creating order out of chaos.\n* Curious and eager to learn; always looking for ways to level up.\n* A creative mind with keen attention to detail. \n* Focused on adding value to every touch point, process, project or task.\n* Solid background in creating content across multiple channels, for multiple audiences/personas.\n* Can demonstrate professionalism in content creation, including the conception, writing, editing, and distribution of marketing and sales materials.\n* Ability to write concise copy that simplifies technical and complex topics and makes them easy to understand.\n* Strong on-page SEO knowledge and experience using topic clusters to inform strategy. \n* Can collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholders to collect and  organize information in a user-friendly manner.\n* Education/Background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in Content Marketing or Content Strategy (4+ years experience).\n\nWhat we offer\n\n* Competitive salary\n* Fully remote work environment\n* The opportunity to shape the future of how agencies work in the age of AI\n\nA Note on Video Introductions & Cover Letters\n\nAt Kalungi, we value syntropy - bringing order, clarity, and purpose to the work we do. Your cover letter and video introduction are your first opportunity to do the same: to shape a clear, intentional story about who you are and how you create impact.
