Qualifications:
- Active CIC or CCS Certification
- College Graduate of BS Nursing or a med allied course
- 3 years Inpatient Medical Coding Experience with 1 year lant inpatient medical coding experience.
Responsibilities:
- The coder is responsible for meticulously reviewing inpatient medical records to assign the correct ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for diagnoses and procedures, ensuring accurate sequencing and proper Present on Admission (POA) indicator assignment.
