What makes this role exciting
CloudPay is seeking a Senior United States Payroll Specialist to join our inclusive, global team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in processing and validating U.S. payrolls, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal standards, including SSAE 16 audits.

Main responsibilities
Act as a source of US payroll knowledge to support the day-to-day activities of the US Payroll Specialist
Establish, update, and maintain payroll records and analyse payroll-related information to ensure accurate payroll in line with US legislation
Research discrepancies of payroll information and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing
Reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure the accuracy of information before processing payroll
Complete controls and cross-checking on payroll results
Maintain payroll information, files, and records to provide up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance
Deliver payroll accurately and provide timely payment of employee salaries on time in line with client service level agreements and expectations
Prepare and submit statutory declarations for authorities
Prepare regular and ad hoc payroll reports, and handle special client requests
Assist in the validation of payroll requirements to ensure that the client provides sufficient information to enable the set-up and configuration to be completed successfully
Partner with Implementation Consultants to ensure successful knowledge transfers are completed between Project Delivery and Operations
Experience needed for this role
Proven, solid experience in in-house United States payroll processing
Fluent in English
A degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a similar field is an advantage
Strong user knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Excel and Word
Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines.
Project work experience is an advantage
Support US payroll software updates, changes, migration from a US Payroll knowledge point of view
