Description

As an Avionics Wire Harness Technician at Inversion, you will play a hands-on role in the build, verification, and integration of avionics wiring harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies used in flight hardware and test systems. You will fabricate harnesses from engineering drawings and work instructions, including routing, cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and installing connectors using standard hand tools and test equipment. You will perform continuity, insulation resistance, and other electrical checks to confirm assemblies meet quality requirements, and conduct detailed visual inspections to ensure compliance with specifications. In addition to bench-level assembly and test, you will support installation and routing of harnesses into avionics enclosures, racks, and vehicle structures, working closely with manufacturing, integration, and engineering teams. The role also includes documenting build and test results, recording non-conformances, assisting with troubleshooting and rework, and providing practical feedback on drawings or process issues identified during fabrication. From initial assembly through final vehicle installation, your work will directly support the delivery of reliable space flight hardware.
