Job Description

Job Title: Instrumentation & Control Inspector Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project Mobilization: June 2026 Employment Type: Full-time / Project-Based

The I&C Inspector will supervise and inspect instrumentation and control installation activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and applicable procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect instrumentation and control installation works on site
Verify compliance with approved drawings, loop diagrams, installation details, and technical requirements
Witness inspections, testing, calibration, and pre-commissioning activities as applicable
Report defects, deviations, and non-conformities
Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and commissioning teams
Maintain inspection reports and quality records
Ensure adherence to HSE and QA/QC requirements

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Control Systems, or related discipline
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
Strong experience in thermal power plant or industrial I&C installation
Familiarity with field instruments, control panels, cabling, and installation standards

Preferred Profile

GCC experience
Exposure to DCS, PLC, and plant control systems is an advantage
