What We're Looking For (Must-Haves) - 10+ years of product management experience in software/digital products with increasing scope and complexity. - 2-3 years of specific experience building or scaling App Marketplaces in a SaaS environment. - Proven track record of growing GMV: You have successfully managed a marketplace - P&L or driven significant revenue growth through 3rd-party ecosystem monetisation. - Developer Platform Expertise: You have a deep understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication (OAuth), and the technical nuances of what makes a "great" developer experience. - Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to own product strategy and execution at a senior/IC level (Principal or equivalent), balancing long-term vision with ruthlessly prioritised execution. - Strong Analytical Mindset: You can work with complex data sets (transaction volume, churn, API usage), run experiments, and interpret results to drive ecosystem health. What We'll Like (Great-to-Have) - Experience specifically in a B2B SaaS platform (CRM, Marketing Automation) with a multi-tenant architecture. - Technical background (CS degree or former developer) to effectively empathize with the developer community. - Experience with global/multi-region marketplace rollouts (handling multi-currency, VAT/Tax compliance for marketplaces). - You are an instinctive product leader: You thrive in turning ambiguous, complex ecosystem problems (How do we attract top developers? How do we increase app adoption?) into clear strategies. - You are platform-minded: You understand leverage. You don't just build features; you build systems that allow others to build features. - You are a strong communicator: Able to influence without direct authority, build alignment across internal teams and external developer communities, and articulate roadmap outcomes to leadership. - You move fast: You are comfortable living in a growth-stage SaaS environment where speed matters, and you are ready to own the Marketplace as a strategic lever for business growth. Role Overview - As the Staff Product Manager for App Marketplace, you will own the end-to-end product strategy, ecosystem vision, and execution for HighLevel’s App Marketplace. You will be responsible for transforming our marketplace into a thriving economy that connects 3rd-party developers with our 2 million+ businesses. You will partner deeply with Engineering, Design, Partnerships, Developer Relations, and Marketing to build a scalable platform that drives GMV, improves DevEx, and delivers high-value integrations to our customers. You will be accountable for defining the vision, setting KPIs, and delivering measurable impact on marketplace revenue and adoption.
