Job Description

Job Title: Civil Inspector – Buildings Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project

The Civil Inspector will supervise and inspect building-related construction works on site, ensuring compliance with project drawings, specifications, and approved quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect building works including concrete, masonry, finishing, and related structural components
Verify compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and specifications
Witness inspections and testing activities
Report construction defects, deviations, and non-conformities
Coordinate with the civil engineering team and contractor representatives
Support documentation and inspection reporting processes
Ensure site activities are carried out in line with safety requirements

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 7 years of site inspection experience
Experience in thermal power plant or industrial building construction
Good understanding of QA/QC procedures and field inspection protocols

Preferred Profile

Prior experience in utility, power, or industrial projects
Strong knowledge of building construction inspection practices
