Your day at NTT DATA
The Senior Principal Marketing Specialist is a highly skilled and advanced subject matter expert, pivotal in shaping and executing the marketing strategy within the organization.
This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and competitive landscapes. This role is responsible for leading complex marketing initiatives, drive brand awareness, and enhance customer engagement through innovative marketing solutions.
Typically operating in a region, this role is responsible for (but not limited to) the development of marketing campaigns, targeted programs, internal and external communications, partner marketing, sales content and/or pipeline development activities.
The Senior Principal Marketing Specialist may coach and mentor less experienced members of the Marketing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Develops and implements comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
- Leads cross-functional teams to execute marketing plans effectively.
- Conducts in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Utilizes insights to inform strategic decisions and marketing initiatives.
- Oversees the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Measures and reports on campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
- Champions brand positioning and messaging across all marketing channels.
- Ensures consistency and alignment with the overall brand strategy.
- Collaborates with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align marketing efforts with business objectives and presents marketing strategies and results to executive teams.
- Provides guidance and mentorship to junior marketing team members.

- Significant knowledge and understanding of all relevant industry standards and best practices in marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to be influential and persuasive with stakeholders.
- Excellent ability to interact with a variety of internal team members at different levels in the organization.
- Excellent ability to articulate company's value proposition.
- Significant awareness of data privacy and compliance as they relate to marketing activities.
- Significant knowledge of A/B testing principles and tools to optimize marketing campaigns by experimenting with different variations.
- Significant understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and tools to improve website and landing page conversions.
Academic qualifications and certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing Management or related field.
Required experience:
- Significant demonstrated experience in all aspects of marketing.
- Significant demonstrated experience with marketing service delivery software.
- Significant demonstrated experience with a wide variety of computer software, hardware, and peripherals, including Microsoft 365.
