Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Senior QA Engineer with deep expertise in automation testing to lead quality initiatives in our fast-paced Agile teams. You will design, execute, and maintain robust test automation frameworks, collaborate with developers and stakeholders, and ensure seamless releases. This role demands strong technical skills in Selenium with Java (BDD) or Playwright with Python, paired with excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive automation test suites using Selenium with Java (BDD framework like Cucumber) or Playwright with Python.
Design, implement, and optimize test frameworks for web applications, ensuring high coverage and reliability.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and conduct thorough regression testing.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive root-cause analysis to improve product quality.
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to test strategy, planning, and execution in Agile sprints.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and facilitate UAT sign-offs.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to enhance testing processes.

Must-Have Qualifications

6-8 years of experience in QA automation, with proven expertise in Selenium with Java (BDD) or Playwright with Python.
Strong automation scripting skills, including framework design, page object models, and handling dynamic web elements.
API automation (e.g., Postman, Karate framework).
CI/CD pipeline setup (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Proficiency in Jira, Confluence for test management and reporting.
Engineering background (B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or related field).
Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex testing challenges.
Strong communication skills for stakeholder interactions, documentation, and team collaboration.

Good-to-Have Skills

Performance/load testing with JMeter.
SQL querying for database validation.
Mobile app testing (Android/iOS, Appium).
