Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics operations. This role involves managing end-to-end logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline the supply chain processes and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate and communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery performance and reduce logistics costs.
  • Oversee compliance with safety, legal, and company policies within logistics operations.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a logistics team to meet company objectives.
  • Analyze logistics data, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on process optimization and technology adoption.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts as needed

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role within logistics or supply chain environment.

  • Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.

  • Knowledge of compliance standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
