About the job Database developer

Job Description:

Role: Database developer

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience as an Oracle and PostgreSQL Database Developer.
• Hands-on both PL/SQL and PostgreSQL with programming languages.
• Strong understanding of Oracle and PostgreSQL database architecture and internals.
• Working Knowledge of query optimizations.
• Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and coding standards.
• Working knowledge of import/export activities.
• Recovery of lost objects and data files, monitoring the database growth, and Re-organization of tables, and indexes.
• Monitoring the database lock-related issues
• Good communication skills

Good to Have:

• Any database migration experience is a plus.
• Database certification (Oracle and/or PostgreSQL) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of AWS RDS, Creation of instances, monitoring, etc.
