Description
Architect
- Apply a first principles approach to design production: simplify requirements, delete unnecessary process steps, optimize, accelerate production, and automate.
- Assist project teams in the production of quality documents from initial concepts to construction documents.
- Perform construction administration duties and ensure adherence to design intent, working quickly with stakeholders to resolve issues. On-site construction visits required.
- Research building codes, materials, and industry guidelines to develop details and comprehensive and constructible drawings.
- Implement QC measures and ensure deliverables comply with requirements.
- Make sound, timely decisions, involving appropriate people in the process.
- Ensure projects meet client agreements, budgets, goals, and work assignments.
- Professionally communicate assignments to staff, consultants, and vendors.
- Occasional travel required.
- Professional degree in Architecture.
- 3-7 years of professional design experience on commercial projects.
- High proficiency in Revit in a professional office setting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D, including the ability to develop detailing, Revit schedules, families, and shared parameters.
- Nevada licensed Architect or eligible for license reciprocity.
- Experience in BIM/VDC asset development and management.
- Scripting experience with visual programming automation tools (Dynamo and Grasshopper).
- Proficiency in visualization tools such as Lumion, Enscape, V-ray, Keyshot, Unreal, or Twinmotion.
