Architect

  • Apply a first principles approach to design production: simplify requirements, delete unnecessary process steps, optimize, accelerate production, and automate.
  • Assist project teams in the production of quality documents from initial concepts to construction documents.
  • Perform construction administration duties and ensure adherence to design intent, working quickly with stakeholders to resolve issues. On-site construction visits required.
  • Research building codes, materials, and industry guidelines to develop details and comprehensive and constructible drawings.
  • Implement QC measures and ensure deliverables comply with requirements.
  • Make sound, timely decisions, involving appropriate people in the process.
  • Ensure projects meet client agreements, budgets, goals, and work assignments.
  • Professionally communicate assignments to staff, consultants, and vendors.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Professional degree in Architecture.
  • 3-7 years of professional design experience on commercial projects.
  • High proficiency in Revit in a professional office setting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D, including the ability to develop detailing, Revit schedules, families, and shared parameters.
  • Nevada licensed Architect or eligible for license reciprocity.
  • Experience in BIM/VDC asset development and management.
  • Scripting experience with visual programming automation tools (Dynamo and Grasshopper).
  • Proficiency in visualization tools such as Lumion, Enscape, V-ray, Keyshot, Unreal, or Twinmotion.
