Japanese Customer Support Specialist - Lisbon

We are looking for Japanese-speaking Customer Service Representatives to join a leading global platform connecting buyers and sellers. Be part of a dynamic, international team in Lisbon that values empathy, problem-solving, and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Support customers via phone, email, chat, and social media

  • Mediate disputes between buyers and sellers, ensuring fair and efficient resolutions

  • Provide clear and accurate information about products, services, and procedures

  • Handle customer queries with patience, professionalism, and empathy

  • Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Experts, etc.) to improve the overall Customer Experience

  • Identify opportunities for service improvement through customer feedback

  • Native or C1 level of Japanese

  • Advanced level of English

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, or retail is a plus

  • Ability to multitask and switch between various communication channels

  • Team-player mindset and flexibility to work on weekends or public holidays

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week and commute to the Lisbon office at least 2 days per week

  • Permanent Contract (with a 6-month Probation Period).

  • A competitive Annual Gross Base Salary of 18.000€-23.000€ depending on your level, competencies, and overall experience.
