🧠 About the Role

You’ll join Harambee’s Product team, supporting the Recommendation Engine, where data, AI and product thinking come together.

You will:

Partner with stakeholders to define, clarify and solve complex business problems
Perform deep‑dive analysis across multiple data sources
Write advanced SQL queries (CTEs, window functions, joins) to generate insights
Translate insights into clear, development‑ready specifications (user stories, data flows, functional specs)
Work closely with Agile delivery teams to bring solutions to life
Support the evolution and maintenance of the product roadmap
Help stakeholders understand, adopt and trust the solutions we build

🔍 What You Bring

We’re looking for a blend of technical strength, analytical thinking and collaboration:

Must‑haves

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics or Computer Science
5+ years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst or Data Product Owner
Strong experience writing complex SQL
Proven data analysis and root‑cause analysis capability
Experience working in Agile / SCRUM / Kanban environments
Google BigQuery experience

Nice‑to‑haves

Postgraduate qualification in Data Science, Statistics or a related field
Exposure to or strong interest in AI / machine learning projects
Solid understanding of probability, hypothesis testing and EDA
