Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering
The packaging scope includes various items such as labels, bags, foil bags, printer ribbons, cartons, and media storage, with a focus on maintaining quality, qualifying new materials, and collaborating with suppliers and teams globally. Responsibilities involve defining monitoring methods, managing packaging specifications, reacting to customer feedback, and ensuring smooth communication with quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams for ongoing engineering developments and annual requests for quotes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Packaging scope covers cassette, cleanroom & non-cleanroom label, LPPE & HDPE bag, Foil bag, printer ribbon, carton box, pallet cover & sleeve, media storage requirement, and customer complaint-related issues.
- Maintain packaging quality and define the monitoring method.
- Qualify new packing material and implementation.
- Responsible for working with new/old suppliers, SQE, material lab, Planer, GCM, and Operation SPI on any engineering development of packaging material.
- Collaboration work with the WW packaging team (PN/SZ/GO).
- Maintain all packaging SOW for GCM and SQE to work with the vendor for getting yearly RFQ, sharing material, & Lab test spec.
- Maintain packaging material masterlist (Cassette & Label), example cassette & Label drawing, part number, artwork/component drawing.
- Responsible for reacting to react, resolving any customer feedback related to packaging matters with QA, SQE, and production.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or related field
PREFERRED:
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience
