Job Description
Your Career We are looking for a strategic and highly analytical and results driven Sr Manager, Ad Operations to own and scale our global ad ops function. The Ad Ops Manager will be a pivotal leader responsible for optimizing core business processes, providing critical data-driven insights, and ensuring operational consistency to support hyper-growth and organizational efficiency within the Digital marketing team. You will be the core expert in ad technology, responsible for the end-to-end technical execution, testing, trafficking, and reporting of all programmatic and direct-buy campaigns across the buyers journey. Your focus will be on leveraging the Google Ad Server (Campaign Manager 360/GAM) to ensure operational efficiency, publisher compliance, and consistent, high-quality campaign performance reporting. Your Impact Own the daily operations within the Google Ad Server (Campaign Manager 360/GAM), FB, Demandbase ( any other platform that requires ad execution) including campaign setup, placement creation, creative trafficking, audience targeting integration, and tag management. Lead the technical QA process for all ad creative (static, rich media, video, and third-party tags) to ensure they meet specification standards, fire correctly, and are compatible across all platforms (web, mobile, app). Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex ad-serving, tracking, and reporting discrepancies with internal media teams, external agencies, and third-party verification partners Manage and maintain the organization’s master ad tags and tracking pixels, integrating them correctly with various media channels Collaborate directly with premium publishers and media partners to manage creative specifications, establish placement tagging structures, and ensure timely deployment of campaigns. Systematically investigate, document, and reconcile data discrepancies between the Google Ad Server, Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), and publisher reporting systems. Assist in the technical onboarding and setup of new ad-tech vendors, ensuring seamless integration with our existing advertising stack. Maintain the highest level of data quality and taxonomy within the ad server to ensure consistent and reliable reporting across all campaigns and channels. Configure and deliver standardized and custom reports from the Google Ad Server to provide performance insights (impressions, clicks, conversions) to the Media, Analytics, and Finance teams. Document and implement scalable best practices for campaign trafficking, naming conventions, and asset delivery to maximize operational efficiency and reduce human error. Work closely with Campaign Strategist to create media plans using historical performance data. Constantly optimize for performance - Impressions, CTR, Reach, freq capping, conversion etc
Qualifications (Additional Job Description)
Your Experience 10+ years of dedicated experience in an Ad Operations, Digital Media Operations, or Ad Technology role, preferably within an agency, publisher, or large B2B company. Mandatory expert-level proficiency and hands-on experience with Google Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) and/or Google Ad Manager (GAM). Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital ad technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, rich media formats, VAST/VPAID for video, and cookie/privacy regulations ($GDPR, CCPA). Knowledge of other DSPs such as Demand Base, Tradedesk, Adobe cloud etc Deep expertise in DV360, SA360, and social platforms such as Linkedin, Facebook, X. Experience with reporting from media platforms and familiarity with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics). An exceptional level of organization and meticulous attention to detail is critical for error-free trafficking and accurate data management. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to ad serving, creative implementation, and tracking discrepancies under pressure. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues and requirements to non-technical business stakeholders (Media Buyers, Creative Teams, Finance).
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
