Role: Sales Development Representative
Hours: Monday - Friday. 9AM - 5PM MST
Our client is a U.S.-based digital marketing agency headquartered in Salt Lake City. The company has been in business for over 7 years and currently employs 13 full-time team members. They specialize in helping home service and home construction companies grow their revenue through Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, SEO, website development, CRM systems, and content creation.
Their clients include roofing companies, HVAC companies, plumbers, general contractors, and custom home builders—many generating between $50M to $150M+ in annual revenue. The company is not a startup; it is an established, profitable, and rapidly growing organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for making outbound cold calls to home service and home construction business owners across the United States. Their primary goal is to connect with decision-makers, generate interest in our client’s services, and schedule qualified appointments with the company’s senior Account Executives.
Responsibilities
- Make a minimum of 200 outbound cold calls per day
- Book 3–4 qualified appointments daily
- Follow a proven cold calling script and talk track
- Follow up with leads via phone, text, and email using the company’s CRM system
This is a high-energy, high-volume, phone-based role. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their day on calls. Individuals who thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoy speaking with prospects throughout the day are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer service roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand and articulate product value propositions.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools like Go High Level.
- A self-motivated and goal-oriented attitude with a passion for sales.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Multiple years of experience cold calling (in the digital marketing space preferred)
- Full sales cycle experience - from contact to close
Strong preferences:
- Experience in digital marketing, SaaS, or agency sales
- Familiarity with tools like Apollo, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRMs
- Experience selling to small/mid-size business owners (SMB)
- Job stability — you don't hop every 6 months
This role is NOT a fit if you:
- Have never done outbound cold calling
- Prefer inbound leads or warm outreach only
- Are looking for a low-effort, low-accountability position
- Can't articulate how you handle common sales objections
- Are not motivated by earning potential and performance-based pay
Compensation
- Base: Competitive hourly rate based on experience (top of market for proven performers)
- Commission: Performance-based bonuses on top of base pay. The more quality appointments
- you book, the more you earn. Our top SDRs earn significantly above their base through
- commissions.
