JOB DESCRIPTION

**Job Title - Data Goverence Lead
**

**Location - Bangalore / Hyd
**

Shift time - IST(9 to 6pm)

**Year of experience - 10 to 12Yrs
**

**Relavent - 10Years
**

Notice period - Immediate 

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Overall experience of 10+ years with proven relevant work experience as a Data Governance specialist of at least 6+ years

  • Proficient in Sql, Database Management activities.

  • Data Governance Lead will take the ownership for implementation of data governance programs, including architecture, development and support operations utilizing market leading MDM, Data Quality, Data Cataloguing & Data Governance solutions.

  • Design and architect end-to-end data governance solutions, focusing on the implementation of Data Governance tools (Collibra/Atlan) to meet the organization's data governance objectives and requirements.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and IT teams to understand data governance needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Develop data governance strategies, policies, and standards that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Define and implement data governance workflows and processes, ensuring efficient data governance operations across the organization.

  • Develops and deploys data governance framework/standards consisting of data policies and processes in the areas of data ingestion, data movement, data quality, master & reference data and data life cycle management.

  • Conduct data profiling, data quality assessments, and data lineage analysis using tools to identify data issues and develop remediation strategies.

  • Enforce data practices as per changing regulatory policies in order to meet compliance requirements from time to time.

  • Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders, data stewards, and data owners on the effective use of tools for data governance activities.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data governance, and proactively recommend enhancements and improvements.

  • Should have worked in vigorous agile environment.

  • Lead experience in managing team on Data Governance topics.

  • Certifications - Collibra Data Steward/ Data Governance Practitioner/ Cloud Data Governance CDGC Foundation Certification
