Hotel Manager

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to take full ownership of operations at a luxury seaside hotel in Chania, Crete.

This high-impact role requires a strategic and hands-on leader capable of driving operational excellence, financial performance, and exceptional guest experiences across the property. You will coordinate all departments and ensure the hotel consistently delivers outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance), ensuring the highest standards of guest service.

  • Coordinate workflows, monitor KPIs, and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

  • Manage budgets, control costs, and drive strategies to maximize profitability.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards across the property.

  • Address complex operational challenges and guest feedback with professionalism and timely resolution.

  • Collaborate with ownership or senior management on strategic planning, resource allocation, and departmental alignment.

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in hotel operations or management, preferably in property, luxury, or lifestyle hotel settings.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams toward ambitious goals.

  • Fluent English; additional languages advantageous.

  • Proven decision-making, organizational, and problem-solving skills under pressure

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment while managing competing priorities.
