REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a SAP Sales Configuration Senior Consultant or Architect and Quote-to-Cash processes;
  • Evidence of delivered SAP Sales Configuration projects across full project lifecycle;
  • Experience is supporting Sales and Presales pursuits and practice development initiatives;
  • Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA Sales (SD module) and configurable material types (KMAT);
  • Understanding of interaction between Variant Configuration (LO-VC, AVC) and PP/MM modules, including configurable BOMs and routings;
  • Understanding and has applied object dependencies (preconditions, selection conditions, procedures, actions) as part of LO-VC/AVC implementations;
  • Be able to analyze complex product configuration requirements and identify opportunities for optimization and process improvement;
  • The ability to communicate complex configuration logic to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • The ability to manage project backlog related to configuration workstreams;
  • Strong presentation and communication skills;
  • Experience working in a collaborative approach and outstanding listening skills;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team;
  • Business proficiency in English;

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understanding the customer's product configuration and sales business processes and requirements;
  • Designing and configuring solution(s) in SAP CPQ and/or VCP to meet the customer's configure-to-order and quote-to-cash requirements;
  • Preparing training materials and conducting training sessions for end-users on SAP Sales Configuration tools and processes;
  • Providing ongoing support and maintenance for configure-to-order and quote-to-cash processes, including resolving configuration issues and identifying opportunities for improvement;
  • Managing Project Backlog for the configuration workstream, timely identifying risks and change requests;
  • Working collaboratively with other functional consultants (SD, PP, MM), technical consultants to ensure successful project delivery;
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest SAP CPQ, Variant Configuration, and S/4HANA Sales functionality and best practices, and proactively sharing this knowledge with customers and colleagues.
