Who are you?

Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive the planning, design and construction of innovative retail real estate as part of a program with a large client.

You are a confident technically strong construction professional with deep experience in commercial interiors, construction management delivery, and CCDC 5B contracts. You bring a strong sense of ownership, accountability and urgency. An individual comfortable operating as the senior technical authority, with the ability to translate complex construction issues with clarity at an executive-level.

Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be involved in:

  • Leading construction delivery from pre-planning and tender through to commissioning, deficiency clearance, and turnover
  • Acting as the primary Owner’s Representative and technical authority on a complex interior build
  • Managing CCDC 5B contracts, including CM fees, reimbursable costs, and conversion to stipulated price
  • Overseeing General Contractors, consultants, and vendors, and resolving issues before they impact cost or schedule
  • Conducting constructability reviews during design-assist to proactively mitigate risk
  • Translating technical challenges into clear, executive-level reporting
  • Driving schedule, budget, quality, and safety performance

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of construction or project management experience on large commercial or corporate interior projects
  • Proven delivery of CCDC 5B projects over $30M
  • Strong leadership experience on multi-floor tenant improvements or base-building interiors
  • Advanced negotiation and commercial acumen
  • Expert technical knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and consultant coordination
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, IWMS platforms, and the Google ecosystem, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Project or P6
  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or similar (PMP preferred)
  • PMP certification is preferred.
