The Administrator will work closely with the Head of Operations to support the work of Economist Enterprise in various areas.The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, stays cool under pressure and is motivated by setting high standards and striving to exceed them. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and solution-oriented thinking.
Key responsibilities:
Process, manage, and accurately code invoices from suppliers, including agencies and freelancers using tools such as PeopleSoft
Be a go-to person for contracts with 3rd party suppliers and a liaison between the Research & Analytics (R&A) team, legal and procurement functions.
Undertake quarterly audits of

Access to Viewpoint for contributors and super contributors working with the R&A team
Onboard new recruits, new contributors, and super contributors. Ensure that new recruits and super contributors have access to all the relevant platforms, cms, data wrapper, Quickbase, Viewpoint
Arrange induction meetings for new recruits to the R&A team
Administering and managing commercialisation of analyst’ time
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience is preferred but not required
- Meticulous, proactive approach to problem-solving, accountable and result-driven
- Collaborative and able to partner with team members across Economist Enterprise and company, along with the ability to multitask, problem solve and efficiently manage time
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Flexibility to work across different time zones and collaborate with international teams

The majority of our roles operate on a hybrid working pattern, with 3+ days office attendance required.
