What you'll do:
- Analyze and identify different sections of court documents.
- Summarize court documents using AI-powered tools while ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Review and verify all research output to maintain editorial integrity.
- Monitor external sources daily for updates on court cases and business deals.
- Conduct email outreach to law firms and organizations to confirm details about ongoing transactions and legal cases.
- Maintain up-to-date records, closing cases when necessary.
- Collaborate with a global team of journalists and editors to ensure content quality and timeliness.
- Input and manage information in a deals database, ensuring data accuracy.
- Research and cover key business topics including employment law, M&A, capital markets transactions, and litigation
What you'll bring:
Experience in legal research.
Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy and completeness.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
A background in writing or editorial work is a plus.
Availability to work the mid shift (3 PM – 12 AM PH time).
We're seeking candidates with demonstrated legal writing & research experience and a background in law (e.g., having attended law school or completed legal studies coursework.)
