Sales OTC Trader role at Kraken's OTC desk. The Sales OTC Trader will primarily work with our OTC spot team to interface with clients and handle operational aspects of settlement, with exposure to borrowing and lending desks. Reporting to Head of Spot. Responsibilities include: support and grow client relationships, drive trading flow by sourcing, quoting, and executing client trades, support end-to-end trade lifecycle (pricing, execution, hedging, settlement, reconciliation), identify and act on trading opportunities within defined risk parameters, support onboarding and activation of new counterparties, collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and client experience, assist across adjacent desks to broaden product exposure, stay close to market dynamics and educate clients on opportunities across crypto spot markets. Requirements include 1–3 years of experience in OTC trading, electronic trading, or sales trading within financial services or crypto; strong understanding of spot markets and trading workflows; proven ability to manage client relationships; degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or related field. This is a remote position based in the EMEA region; must be willing to work EMEA hours and weekends as needed.
