Verifications Team Lead

In this pivotal role, you will oversee a dedicated team responsible for verifying employment histories, educational backgrounds, professional references, and license statuses for job applicants on behalf of our clients. As the Verifications Specialist Team Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our Verification Department by providing training, coaching, and support to your team members.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Train and coach new and current employees in the Verification Department.

  • Administrative responsibilities related to verifications and submitting End of Day reports as may be required in support of management.

  • Conduct queue cleanup.

  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) and WIP checks for all agents to ensure that processes are followed.

  • Assist hiring managers in the interviewing and hiring process.

  • Process verification files.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • 1-2 years of background experience with Verifications and Team lead.

  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to quickly learn new software and use systems accurately.

  • You are a natural problem solver and are focused on creating solutions.

  • You can adapt quickly to a changing environment.

  • You work well independently but understand the importance of teamwork.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively facilitate and adjust communication styles to the audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years experience in an office setting.
  • Working knowledge of G-Suite and Microsoft Office products.
  • Navigate between multiple windows/browsers with ease, perform extensive internet research, and type 45 WPM.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to be on the phone for extended periods.
  • Perform extensive internet and phone research.

Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Internet Connection:

  • Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.

  • Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.

  • Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.

  • Primary Device:

  • Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:

  • Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.

  • A minimum of 8 GB RAM.

  • Backup Device:

  • Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.

  • Must be functional during power interruptions.

  • Peripherals and Workspace:

  • A functioning webcam.

  • A noise-canceling USB headset.

  • A quiet, dedicated home office space.

  • A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
