Role Overview

The Resource Coordinator– Italy is a critical operational pillar within our Football Department. You will serve as the primary architect of our freelance network across the Italian territory, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of Freelancers (FLs) and Casual Workers (CWs) dedicated to our football operations.

This role balances high-level strategic planning such as demand forecasting and regional talent acquisition with rigorous operational oversight of our human capital. You are responsible for ensuring we have the right talent, in the right place, at the right time to support our coverage across 90 stadiums, servicing Italy’s most prestigious leagues:

  • Lega Serie A

  • Serie BKT

  • Serie C

  • Serie A Femminile

Key Responsibilities

1. Resource Planning & Regional Scheduling

  • Strategic Italian Allocation: Lead the scheduling and management of a nationwide network of freelance operators across all Italian regions.

  • Demand Forecasting: Partner with Project Leads and the Operations Manager to determine the precise headcount required for regional projects, ensuring readiness for peak competition periods.

  • Workflow Optimization: Manage the deployment of resources to ensure seamless operational coverage, balancing availability and performance to maintain high delivery standards.

2. End-to-End Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Recruitment Lifecycle: Lead the full hiring process specifically for the Italian market, from initial job openings to final onboarding.

  • TA Collaboration: Partner with the Talent Acquisition department to define specific Italian job requirements and streamline the sourcing of local talent.

  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct interviews to select the most qualified freelance profiles that meet the technical and cultural needs of our football operations.

3. HSE & Compliance (Health & Safety)

  • Certification Oversight: Audit and verify that all Italian freelancers hold the necessary Health & Safety (HSE) certifications required for their specific roles.

  • Regulatory Monitoring: Ensure all external personnel operate in full alignment with Italian safety regulations (D.Lgs. 81/08) and corporate standards to minimize operational risk.

4. Invoicing & Financial Administration

  • Billing Management: Oversee the entire invoicing process for the Italian freelance network, ensuring documentation is accurate and processed on time.

  • Cost Center Allocation: Verify that all freelance-related expenses are correctly coded and directed to the appropriate internal Italian cost centers for accurate budget reporting.

5. Relationship & Operational Support

  • Point of Contact: Serve as the primary liaison for day-to-day queries, escalations, and support for the Italian FL/CW community.

  • Training Alignment: Collaborate with CRP Trainers to ensure new resources are equipped with the necessary skills and materials specific to the Italian service deliverables.

  • Strategy Contribution: Support the CRP strategy to build a loyal, flexible, and high-performing network across the territory.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Regional Expertise: Proven experience in resource coordination or freelance management specifically within the Italian market.

  • Operational Scheduling: Strong background in managing complex schedules in high-pressure environments (e.g., live events, sports, or broadcasting).

  • Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of Italian Health & Safety standards and labor compliance for external contractors.

  • Financial Accuracy: Ability to manage invoicing workflows and accurately allocate expenses to internal cost centers.

  • Communication: Fluent in Italian and English, with a clear and reliable communication style for a remote workforce.

  • Proactive Problem Solving: A positive, flexible attitude with the ability to solve last-minute resourcing challenges calmly.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel across Italy for event support or team meetings as necessary.
