Live Streaming Operations Manager
Location: Medellin, Colombia (Relocation not provided)
We are looking for a talented Live Streaming Operations Manager. You’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of a live streaming studio, ensuring stable and uninterrupted 24/7 performance. You’ll oversee large on-site teams through multiple management layers, and you’ll be accountable for operational execution, people leadership, and service quality.
This position works closely with technical and central operations teams and plays a key role in supporting studio growth, expansion, and continuous operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Manage, oversee, and lead a team of managers to ensure uninterrupted and smooth operation of the 24/7 Live Streaming Studio.
- Direct the team to ensure uninterrupted operation of the production facilities, meeting the company’s SLA.
- Ensure that the operation meets company objectives, supports continuous improvement, and strives for new achievements.
- Oversee company projects in the facility related to the launch and expansion of studios.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and roadmaps in coordination with relevant teams.
People Management & Performance
- Responsible for directing work across studio teams.
- Author and discuss performance appraisals with managers, create performance plans, address gaps, and build corrective action plans.
- Maintain continuous and organized communication with local team managers.
- Build operational SOPs for the live streaming studio
- Ensure execution of workflows and operational processes across all shifts.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and comfortable working environment for all studio employees.
Technical Oversight
- Ensure that all studio equipment and technical infrastructure are properly maintained, fully functional, and always kept in the best possible operational condition.
- Ensure fast, effective problem resolution during live operations, working closely with technical and network teams.
- Take ownership to ensure that technical issues are analyzed, addressed at the root cause, and do not reoccur.
Quality assurance & Reporting
- Ensure that quality and service standards are consistently enforced across all studio operations.
- Monitor the activity and identify errors, issues, and performance deviations in real time, ensuring they are addressed promptly.
- Identify solutions and recommend system and process improvements to enhance stability, quality, and efficiency.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain continuous, structured, and professional communication with clients, global management, and internal stakeholders.
- Present periodic operational updates and KPI reports to global management and relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Proven experience managing large-scale operations, including leadership of 150+ employees across multiple teams or shifts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage fast-paced 24/7 operations.
- Highly organized, with the ability to plan, structure, and manage complex operational workflows.
- Strong data-driven operational skills, including advanced Excel proficiency and experience measuring SLAs, quality, and team performance.
- Solid people-management skills, including performance management, prioritization, and decision-making under pressure.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
